Choosing your first class costs no coins. Shugo gives you a starter weapon and equips it automatically. Keep one inventory slot free for it. See [[Classes#Choosing and advancing|Classes]] for the starter weapons and class paths.

If you are below level 10, Shugo explains the four classes and tells you to return when you reach the required level.
