<div class="sq-item-article">
Guild Chalices are permanent passive upgrades for your current guild. Leaders and officers buy them with Guild Tokens from the shared treasury in Guild → Shop.

Unlocks
Unlock levels below are guild levels, not player levels. Reaching the level makes a chalice available to buy; it does not give the first tier for free.

Buying and upgrading
# Reach the chalice's required guild level.
# Earn enough treasury tokens through Guild Quests. Pet Tokens and personal coins cannot be used for these upgrades.
# A leader or officer opens Guild → Shop and selects the chalice.
# Buy Tier 1, then upgrade to Tier 2 and Tier 3 in order.

Every current member receives the purchased effect. You do not need to equip or renew a chalice. The upgrade belongs to the guild, so leaving does not take it to your next guild.

Each new tier replaces the previous tier's boost. A Tier 3 XP Chalice gives 5%, not 2% + 3% + 5%. The costs below are the price of each purchase or upgrade, not a running total.

XP Chalice
Increases XP earned from walking. Available at guild level 3.

<div class="sq-table-scroll" tabindex="0" role="region" aria-label="XP Chalice tiers">

Monster Chalice
Adds to monster encounter chance. Available at guild level 7.

<div class="sq-table-scroll" tabindex="0" role="region" aria-label="Monster Chalice tiers">

</div>

Total cost from unpurchased to Tier 3: 900 Guild Tokens.

Before other bonuses, Tier 3 raises the usual 25% encounter chance to 30%. You still need to unlock monster encounters through The Slayer's Trial.

Rune Chalice
Increases battle ATK and DEF. Available at guild level 9.

<div class="sq-table-scroll" tabindex="0" role="region" aria-label="Rune Chalice tiers">
Tier !! Appearance !! Base effect !! Upgrade cost

</div>

Discovery Chalice
Increases the chance to find expedition discovery materials. Available at guild level 11.

<div class="sq-table-scroll" tabindex="0" role="region" aria-label="Discovery Chalice tiers">
Tier !! Appearance !! Base effect !! Upgrade cost
1 || || +5% discovery material chance || 100 Guild Tokens
2 || || +7.5% discovery material chance || 200 Guild Tokens
3 || || +10% discovery material chance || 300 Guild Tokens
</div>

Total cost from unpurchased to Tier 3: 600 Guild Tokens.

This is a relative increase. At Tier 3, a 10% base discovery chance becomes 11% before other modifiers. It does not guarantee a discovery or add ten percentage points.

Other bonuses
The tables show base chalice effects. The Guild Chalice Effect pet bonus can increase the XP, Gold, Monster, and Rune effects. For example, a 5% XP Chalice with +20% Guild Chalice Effect gives a 6% walking XP bonus. See Pet Bonuses and Effects.

The timed Guild XP Buff sold in the Guild Shop is a separate purchase. Its timer does not apply to permanent chalices.
