Classes
Classes determine your class skill, equipment path, and character appearance. You start as a Novice and choose one of four base classes through Shugo at level 10.
Choosing and advancing
Open Story and speak to Shugo when you reach the required level. Class quests are completed in order: first class, advanced class, then master class.
| Stage | Level | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Base class | 10 | Choose Warrior, Archer, Wizard, or Assassin. |
| Advanced class | 30 | Complete the first class quest and advance from your current base class. |
| Master class | 50 | Complete the advanced class quest and advance from your current advanced class. |
Choosing your first class costs no coins and gives you a starter weapon, which is equipped automatically. Keep one inventory slot free for it. Later advancements stay on the same class path and do not give another starter weapon.

Class paths
Your level 30 choice determines your level 50 class. Each class has its own page with requirements, its current skill, progression, and animations.

Class skills
The current game has one active skill per class path. Advancements on that path use the same skill and skill rank. Each class page lists its current effects.
| Class path | Current skill | Main effect |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Guard | Temporarily boosts ATK and DEF. | |
| Pinning Shot | Roots or slows the target and reduces attack cooldown. | |
| Phase Step | Blinks through monsters with brief damage protection. | |
| Smokescreen | Grants invisibility and a guaranteed critical hit. |
The skill values on these pages describe regular monster battles. The Haunted Castle boss battle uses its own event balance.
Skill upgrades
Open Inventory → Skills, tap the next rank, then tap Upgrade. Ranks are bought in order. There are three ranks per skill.
| Rank | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1 | Unlocked when you choose a base class |
| 2 | 10,000 coins |
| 3 | 25,000 coins |
Skill Haste from your active pet shortens skill cooldowns. It does not shorten active effects such as Iron Guard, rapid fire, or invisibility. For skills with an active duration followed by a cooldown, only the cooldown portion is shortened.
Equipment
All advancements on a class path can use that path's gear, subject to the item's level requirement. Advancing does not remove compatible equipment. Check Equipment or the item's page for its class restrictions, stats, level requirement, and price.
Appearance
Each class page shows that class's idle, walking, and attack animations where available. Warrior, Wizard, and Assassin also have a small v2 idle shown in the Haunted Castle boss battle against the mage.
