Pets
Pets give bonuses while equipped. Open Pets and tap a pet in your Collection to equip it. Only your active pet supplies bonuses and gains XP from walking.
Pet species
Pets are grouped by rarity, with earlier releases first within each group.

Leveling
Your active pet gains 1 pet XP per eligible walking step before Pet XP boosts.
Pet Matcha can also give pet XP. Open the item's page for its effect and cost.
Evolution happens automatically when the pet reaches the required level. Each species page lists its stage names and levels.
Bonus power is 60% at level 1, 80% at level 15, and 100% at level 30. It increases gradually between those levels. Level 30 is the final evolution, and pets can keep leveling afterward without gaining more bonus power.
Bonuses and tiers
Each pet has three different bonus types. Every released species, including Gem Shop pets, can roll all 12 current bonus types. Species does not restrict the pool. Bonus tiers run from Tier 1 to Tier 3; higher tiers have higher value ranges. See the bonus reference for effects and ranges.
For a new egg hatch or an ordinary Spellbook reroll, each bonus has a 60% chance to be Tier 1, 30% to be Tier 2, and 10% to be Tier 3. Gem Shop pets have three guaranteed Tier 3 bonuses, including on Spellbook rerolls. The bonus types and their values are still random. Fusion uses its own quality rules.
Pet Spellbook rerolls a pet's bonuses.
Tier Lock can preserve one complete bonus, including its type, tier, and value, for the next Spellbook reroll. The lock is cleared after that reroll.
Affinity
Affinity is rolled separately from species. A pet can have Treasure, Growth, Exploring, Battle, or Hunting affinity. A matching affinity adds 2 percentage points to a bonus at full power. The game adds this before applying the pet's level scaling.
| Affinity | Matching current bonuses |
|---|---|
| Treasure | Coin Bonus |
| Growth | XP Bonus, Chalice Boost |
| Exploring | Expedition Speed, Drop Rate |
| Battle | ATK Bonus, DEF Bonus, HP Bonus, CRIT Bonus, Skill Haste |
| Hunting | Encounter Find |
Potion Boost has no matching affinity. For example, a 25% Coin Bonus with Treasure affinity gives 27% at full power, or 16.2% at 60% power.
Affinity Flask rerolls affinity to a different one. It keeps the pet's bonus types, tiers, and rolled values.
