Hatching
Open Pets and incubate the egg. Walk 1,000 incubation steps, then hatch it to receive a random common pet from the egg's hatch pool. Shop-exclusive pets are outside this pool.
The Dragon Egg discovery is a crafting material. Common Eggs appear in the pet egg collection.
