Pax is the event guide in Quests → Story. He is available from the start. His dialogue and available actions change with the event.

Events
Speak to Pax for current event information. Event expeditions, quests, currencies, and shops are available only while their event rules allow them. His presence in Story does not mean an event is currently open.
Haunted Castle
During Haunted Castle, Pax explains the expedition and offers Explore Haunted Castle, which asks you to complete a solo or co-op run and return to him.
He also handles the event shop and dungeon entry when those options are available. Dungeon keys can be found when claiming Haunted Castle expedition rewards. Bring a key back to Pax to enter the boss battle.
The boss battle uses its own choice of fighter and event balance. It does not change your normal class. Check Pax's current dialogue for event availability.
