Hero's Chest is an equipment chest. Opening one gives one random piece of gear for your class.

Obtaining
The following expedition chances are before boosts. Solo and co-op use the same base chest rolls. Other expeditions and NPC quest rewards can also give this chest.

Opening
Open Inventory and select the chest. You need a class to open it. One chest is consumed and the gear is added to your equipment inventory.

The rarity roll is 30% uncommon and 70% rare. Each of the five equipment slots has a 20% roll: weapon, headgear, chest, legs, or boots. The game chooses a matching piece from your class's gear. If a slot has no matching item at the rolled rarity, it tries another allowed rarity for that slot.
