NPCs

NPCs are characters you can speak to for quests, advice, and services. Find them in Quests → Story. Aldwin has a separate Tutorial card at the top of that section.

NPC list

The list follows the Story board, with Aldwin's tutorial card first. Unlocking an NPC does not unlock all of their later quests or services.

Aldwin	From the start	Game help and the monster battle tutorial.
The Wanderer	From the start	Expedition quests and the Timed Road Trial.
Shugo	From the start; first class at level 10	Choose a class and advance at levels 30 and 50.
Orik	Level 10 and a chosen class	Gear advice, the first enchantment quest, and Stat Hammer crafting.
Mia	Own at least one egg or pet	Pet quests, fusion guidance, and Affinity Flask crafting.
Kira	Level 30	Monster hunting advice and slayer quests.
Vera	Level 50	Guild advice and guild contribution quests.
Grix	35 unique discoveries	Brewing XP potions from spare discovery materials.
Pax	From the start; event actions depend on the event	Event information, event quests, and available event services.

Quests and services

• Open an NPC's page for their quest requirements and available services.
• Accept quests before doing objectives that count progress after acceptance. Return to the NPC to claim the quest reward.
• Some quests give an item when you accept them. That is separate from the reward for finishing.
• Event services from Pax depend on the event. Check his current dialogue for availability.
