The Wanderer

The Wanderer gives expedition quests. Speak to him in Quests → Story before starting the runs you need for a quest.

Expeditions

Start with The Expedition, which asks you to complete one expedition after accepting. Forest Trail works for this first quest and is available from the start. Return to The Wanderer afterward to claim the quest reward.

His later expedition quests count both solo and co-op completions after you accept them. Some also require a number of unique discoveries. The discovery count is your collection total, so those discoveries do not all need to be found during that quest.

Timed Road Trial

At level 70, after completing Master Explorer, The Wanderer offers Timed Road Trial. It is a weekly challenge with a chosen difficulty, a step target, and a time limit. Check the offered target and rewards before accepting.

The requirements below are in addition to unlocking The Wanderer. Complete prerequisite quests before starting the next one.

Seasoned Explorer	Level 20; The Expedition	Complete 5 expeditions after accepting.
Pathfinder	Level 35; Seasoned Explorer	Complete 25 expeditions after accepting and have 30 unique discoveries.
Master Explorer	Level 55; Pathfinder	Complete 30 expeditions after accepting and have 50 unique discoveries.
Timed Road Trial	Level 70; Master Explorer	Walk the assigned number of steps before the time limit. Choose a difficulty when starting.
