Chicken is a common pet that can hatch from a Common Egg. It starts as a Chick and evolves as it levels up.

Obtaining
A new Common Egg has a 25% chance to hatch Chicken. It chooses equally from 4 common species: Cat, Dog, Bunny and Chicken. Each egg is a separate roll.
Common Eggs can drop from Harvest Fields and Mountain Ruins. See Common Egg for their sources and hatching instructions.
Chicken can also be obtained through pet fusion. Use three Chicken pets to keep the species. Mixing different common species can produce Chicken or another common pet.
