Chicken is a common pet that can hatch from a Common Egg. It starts as a Chick and evolves as it levels up.

Obtaining

A new Common Egg takes 1,000 incubation steps and has a 25% chance to hatch Chicken. It chooses equally from four common species: Cat, Dog, Bunny, and Chicken. Each egg is a separate roll.

Common Eggs can drop from Harvest Fields and Mountain Ruins. See Common Egg for their sources and hatching instructions.

Chicken can also be the result of common-pet fusion. Three Chickens keep the Chicken species; a mix of common species can produce Chicken or another common pet. Fusion consumes the three input pets and one  Fusion Catalyst. The result starts at level 1.

Possible bonuses

Chicken gets three different bonus types from the pool below. For a new hatch or an ordinary Pet Spellbook reroll, each bonus has a 60% chance to be Tier 1, 30% to be Tier 2, and 10% to be Tier 3. Fusion uses its own quality rules.

Ranges show full power at level 30, before affinity. A young pet displays lower values. These are the current roll options; older saved pets may still have legacy bonuses.

Leveling and evolution

Open Pets and tap Chicken in your Collection to equip it. Only your active pet gains XP from walking and supplies pet bonuses. Walking gives it 1 pet XP per eligible step before Pet XP boosts.  Pet Matcha can also give pet XP.

Evolution happens automatically at the levels below. Bonus strength rises between these milestones; it does not jump straight from one percentage to the next.

Pet level Stage name Bonus power
1 Chick 60%
15 Chicken 80%
30 Rooster 100%

Level 30 is the final evolution, not a hard level cap. More levels require more XP, while bonus power stays at 100%.

Affinity

Affinity is rolled separately from species. A pet can have Treasure, Growth, Exploring, Battle, or Hunting affinity. Only bonuses that match that affinity get the extra boost. Potion Boost has no matching affinity.

At level 30, a matching affinity adds 2 percentage points to that bonus. For example, a 25% Coin Bonus becomes 27% with Treasure affinity. Below level 30, the combined value is reduced by the pet's current bonus power.

Affinity Flask changes affinity.  Pet Spellbook rerolls bonus types and values;  Tier Lock can preserve one complete bonus for the next reroll.
