Pet Bonuses and Effects

Pet bonuses apply only while the pet is active. This page adapts the Pet Bonus and Effects guide updated November 3, 2026. Numerical ranges are preserved exactly from that document.

Current bonuses

Ranges show full-power values at Level 30, before affinity bonuses. T1, T2, and T3 mean Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.

Current pet bonus ranges at Level 30, before affinities

Coin Bonus	Increases coin amounts from walking drops, expedition rewards, monster victories, and daily check-in.	3-7%	8-14%	15-25%
XP Bonus	Increases player experience (XP) from walking and normal expedition rewards, helping you level up.	2-5%	6-10%	11-18%
Expedition Speed	Adds bonus progress per step on eligible expeditions, helping you finish with fewer steps.	2-5%	6-10%	11-16%
Encounter Find	Raises your chance of encountering a monster once monster battles are unlocked.	1-2%	3-5%	6-9%
Drop Rate	Improves eligible drop chances, including eggs, discoveries, gear boxes, and walking coins. Also boosts monster coin and XP rewards.	3-6%	7-12%	13-20%
Potion Boost	Strengthens Health, Rare Find, and Monster potions. Does not extend duration or improve XP brews.	4-6%	7-10%	11-15%
Skill Haste	Shortens your class skill cooldown: the waiting time before you can use it again.	2-4%	5-8%	9-14%

Levels and affinities

Relative increases

Drop Rate: a 10% base chance with +20% Drop Rate becomes 12%. It does not become 30%, and does not guarantee a drop or a higher rarity.

Guild Chalice Boost: a 20% boost makes an active +10% chalice effect +12%. It applies to your own benefit from the active chalice.

Legacy bonuses

The source identifies these as bonuses from before v8.5.2 that can still appear on older pets.

Unlocked bonuses reroll from the current table. Egg Luck, Discovery Boost, and Monster Loot were consolidated into Drop Rate. Daily Bonus was replaced by Coin Bonus. Tier Locks can preserve legacy bonuses during spellbook rerolls.
