Obtaining

Brew with Grix after reaching 35 unique discoveries and accepting The Art of Failure. See Brewing for the first lesson and material requirements.

Recipe	Cost per attempt	Chance of this item
Volatile Brew	750 coins and 3 material copies	34% at 35 discoveries; 53% at 72

Volatile Brew uses two rare-or-better material copies and one epic-or-better copy. It can explode, using the ingredients and coins without giving an item. Its exact chances depend on your unique discoveries. See the chance table.

Using

Open Inventory and select the item.
Choose Consume. One item is used and the timer starts.

The effect lasts 30 minutes of real time. A new XP potion or brew replaces the active XP potion or brew and starts a fresh 30-minute timer, even if the new item is weaker. Keep your stronger brew active until it expires if you want to avoid losing its remaining time.

The listed multiplier boosts walking XP. The Potion Boost pet bonus does not raise this multiplier or extend the duration.
