Using
Open Inventory, select the potion, and choose Consume. One potion gives +25% discovery drop rates for your next eligible expedition reward, including material-copy rolls. It has no timed countdown.
The effect is used for one reward roll, even if that reward gives no discovery. Activate it before the reward is rolled. It applies to your own solo or co-op reward.
Only one Rare Find effect can be active at a time. Another Rare Find Potion cannot be consumed while that effect is active. Monster Potion and XP boosts have separate effects.
Drop chance calculation
This is a relative increase. A discovery with a 10% base chance becomes 12.5% before other bonuses. The effect boosts discovery and material rolls.
Your active pet's Potion Boost increases the potion's bonus. For example, +10% Potion Boost raises its 25% bonus to 27.5%. That turns a 10% base discovery chance into 12.75% before other bonuses. Drop chances are capped at 100%.
